How we work

From your front door to a finished facade.

A London terrace assessed for sash window restoration
01 · The eye

A craftsman looks first, quotes second.

Before anything is measured for a quote, we read the house: original profiles, movement in the frame, what a century of paint has hidden. That assessment tells us whether repair or replacement is right for your home.

02 · The workshop

Made by hand, under one roof.

Sapele or Accoya timber, traditional sash boxes and slim double glazing where it suits. Cut, joined and finished in our own North London workshop. Not flat-packed, not imported.

03 · The detail

The details are where the craft hides.

Hidden draught seals, weights and cords, beaded putty lines and bespoke paintwork finished to the highest standard. Close up, the difference is obvious.

04 · The finish

A window that disappears into the street.

A good restoration feels at home on the street, with the original character intact and a warmer room behind the glass.

What we make

Five trades, one workshop.

Everything below is drawn, made and finished in our workshop, then fitted by our professional on-site team.
